1. 8:30pm - John St. + near Richmond Physical Assault + Attempted Robbery Suspect - did not get a good description could have been male, or female, dressed innocuous, medium build, did not get a good look. Looked like they were carrying a cellular device. Knocked me to the ground in an unprovoked attack. Attempted to grab my black bag and run. My black shoulder bag was securely fastened to my shoulder. When they couldn’t get it they fled. It all happened very fast and I was in shock so I could not fix the flash-confusion in my brain. I walked down John and I was dazed by the brazen broad daylight attempt. I hit Wellington around 9 or 10 although time seemed to pass quickly. I wasn’t looking at my watch. I began to cross the construction site on Wellington in front of the government office and a construction worker, jumped out of nowhere in front of me and shoved me, I stumbled and fell. He then grabbed a pair of summer sandals I had tied to my bag with large twist ties and broke them off and threw them inside the construction site committing robbery against me. Then as I was stunned and grounded he shouted “It was me. I rigged your pipes in 2017.” Then he turned back behind the construction site fencing. I can’t be sure he was an actual construction worker or just dressed up like one. To me he looked like a typical “redneck” they all look the same to me. I left and went to Berzyk Park to recover after the brazen events of Thursday July 25 between the hours of 8:30-10pm. It was hazy and I didn’t look at my watch until 10pm. So the timing isn’t assured. It is believed to be a hate crime as I am visibly Lgbt A transgender male and it is very obvious by the look of me that I am transgender male.
